Our Mission

The mission of the KISD Education Foundation is to support education excellence and promote community engagement in the Kaufman Independent School District.

The Kaufman ISD Education Foundation was established in 1999, thanks to a generous gift from Bob and Marla Gail Dean. This investment has grown substantially over the years, providing college scholarship funds for many KISD graduates through its interest income—and it's only going to grow as more gifts are made! With donations continuing into the future each year, this foundation is supporting our students on their higher education journey today and tomorrow.


Every spring, our KISD Education Foundation strives to make college dreams a reality. Through generous donations from individuals and companies, we are able to help graduating seniors take their first steps into higher education with one of these invaluable scholarships!


The Kaufman ISD Education Foundation is 501c3 non-profit, raising funds and awareness for the campuses and district of KISD to enhance the success of all students and staff.


Since 2022, KEF has awarded scholarships to the Class of 2022 Graduates totaling over

$10,000

and has awarded $2,500 in classroom grants for the Campus Teacher of the Year winners!
